Labor Council affiliates from CNA and WPUSA joined with elected officials and local community officials to host rallies and a town hall to demand East Side San Jose's Regional Medical Center be protected.

Working Partnerships, USA has been collaborating with a number of community organizations such as Amigos de Guadalupe, Latinas Contra Cancer, Latina Coalition, and the Si Se Puede Collective to rally San Jose residents. Together they have worked to elevate the voices of patients and doctors at Regional Medical Center.

Elected Officials including State Senator Dave Cortese, Supervisor Cindy Chavez, and San Jose Councilmember Peter Ortiz have vocalized their support of the movement. Together they have called upon their colleagues and state officials to intervene.
