Below is the South Bay Labor Council’s 2026 COPE endorsement interview schedule for the November 3 General Election.
Interview format:
- Delegates of the South Bay Labor Council only
- All interviews will take place in person at the South Bay Labor Council, 2302 Zanker Rd, San Jose, CA 95131.
- Doors open: 30 minutes before the start time
General Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
The South Bay Labor Council’s COPE Endorsement Committee will conduct candidate interviews in July and August.

Board of Education Candidate Interviews
- Tuesday, July 14, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Thursday, July 16, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Local City Candidate Interviews — Santa Clara County and San Benito County
- Wednesday, August 5, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday, August 8, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, if needed
- Monday, August 10, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
- Tuesday, August 11, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Endorsement Approval Timeline
- Monday, August 17: Delegates Meeting for final approval of endorsements
